Ingredients
  

Chicken Tenders
  • 1.5 lbs chicken tenders
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 cup cornstarch
  • 3 tbsp oil for searing
Sticky Sauce
  • 0.33 cup soy sauce
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp chili paste
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 2 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tsp water

Method
 

  1. Season chicken tenders with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Coat the seasoned chicken in cornstarch and shake off excess.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken 3–4 minutes per side until cooked through.
  4. In the same skillet, add soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, vinegar, chili paste, garlic, ginger, and water.
  5. Simmer sauce, then add the cornstarch slurry and cook until thick and glossy.
  6. Return chicken to skillet and toss until fully coated in sticky sauce.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.

Notes

Adjust heat level by adding more chili paste or red pepper flakes.
