  • 4 Vidalia onions thickly sliced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese grated

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice Vidalia onions into thick rounds and separate into rings.
  3. Arrange onions in a casserole dish.
  4. Pour melted butter evenly over onions.
  5. Season with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  6. Top with mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 35–40 minutes until onions are tender and cheese is melted and golden.
  8. Rest 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add crushed red pepper or substitute smoked cheeses.
