Ingredients
  

Main Dish
  • 1.5 lbs ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheese

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Large skillet
  • Spatula
  • Knife and cutting board

Method
 

  1. Mix ground beef with seasonings and form into patties.
  2. Cook patties in a skillet until browned and cooked through.
  3. Remove patties and sauté onions and mushrooms in butter.
  4. Add garlic and cook briefly.
  5. Return patties to skillet and top with vegetables.
  6. Sprinkle cheese and cover until melted.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a splash of beef broth or top with gravy instead of cheese.
