Ingredients
  

Roll Dough
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2.25 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 cup milk warm
  • 0.25 cup sugar
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 egg large
  • 1 tsp salt
Cinnamon Honey Butter
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.25 cup powdered sugar
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls

  • Hand mixer or stand mixer

Method
 

  1. Activate yeast in warm milk and sugar until foamy.
  2. Mix in butter, egg, salt, and gradually add flour.
  3. Knead dough until smooth and elastic.
  4. Let dough rise until doubled in size.
  5. Roll out and cut into squares.
  6. Allow rolls to rise again until puffy.
  7. Bake at 350°F until golden brown.
  8. Brush with butter and serve with cinnamon honey butter.

Notes

Ensure yeast is properly activated and do not overbake to keep rolls soft.
