- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Mix peaches, sugars, cornstarch, lemon juice, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Spread peach mixture into baking dish.
- Pour melted butter evenly over peaches.
- Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add milk and vanilla and stir until smooth.
- Pour batter over peaches without stirring.
- Bake 45–55 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
- Cool 15 minutes before serving.
Notes
Fresh peaches provide the best flavor, but frozen or canned peaches can also be used. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
