Method
- Combine ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Form into 4 equal patties.
- Make glaze by simmering ketchup, soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, vinegar, garlic, and paprika until thick.
- Cook patties in a hot skillet or grill pan for 3–4 minutes per side.
- Brush glaze onto patties during the final minute of cooking.
- Top each patty with cheddar cheese and allow it to melt.
- Toast brioche buns with butter until golden.
- Assemble burgers with lettuce, glazed patty, pickles, onions, and extra glaze.
Notes
Best served immediately while hot and sticky. Glaze can be made ahead and refrigerated for up to 5 days.
