Ingredients
  

French Toast Sticks
  • 8 slices thick-cut bread (Brioche or Challah recommended)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.5 cup chocolate chips
  • 0.5 cup caramel sauce plus extra for drizzling
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter for frying
  • powdered sugar optional, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Cut bread slices into sticks.
  2. Whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Dip bread sticks into egg mixture.
  4. Cook in buttered skillet 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
  5. Sprinkle chocolate chips while warm.
  6. Drizzle with caramel sauce and powdered sugar.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle sea salt over caramel. Can be reheated in oven or air fryer.
