  • 4 russet potatoes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 3 cups vegetable oil for frying

Method
 

  1. Slice potatoes using a crinkle cutter and soak in cold water for 30 minutes.
  2. Drain and dry thoroughly.
  3. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Fry chips in batches until golden and crispy.
  5. Drain on paper towels and season immediately.

Notes

For extra crispiness, double fry chips and avoid overcrowding the pan.
