  • 0.5 tsp baking powder
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg large
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup Valentine sprinkles

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla.
  4. Mix in dry ingredients until a soft dough forms.
  5. Divide dough, color portions, and fold in sprinkles.
  6. Layer, roll into a log, chill, slice, and bake 10–12 minutes.
