Ingredients
  

Tea Base
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 black tea bags
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 tbsp sugar or honey adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp sweetened condensed milk optional
  • 1 cup ice cubes for iced version
  • 1 vanilla bean or cinnamon stick optional garnish

  • Tea strainer
  • Measuring cups
  • Whisk or spoon

Method
 

  1. Bring water to a gentle boil in a saucepan.
  2. Add black tea bags and steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove tea bags and stir in sugar or honey.
  4. Mix in vanilla extract thoroughly.
  5. Pour in milk and stir until creamy and combined.
  6. Add condensed milk if using for extra richness.
  7. Heat gently for hot milk tea without boiling.
  8. For iced tea, cool slightly and pour over ice cubes.
  9. Garnish and serve immediately.

Notes

Use strong black tea for the best flavor balance. Adjust sweetness and milk according to personal preference.
